Mondoo is creating a new way to help companies keep their users and data safe from hackers around the world.
The UI Engineer will have a direct impact on the Mondoo Platform, including the policy engine, resources, scale, and multi-region functionality.
The role involves assessing, scoping, prioritizing, triaging, and remediating security findings.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
The UI Engineer will work closely with the backend team to create seamless, efficient, and responsive user interfaces.
Key tasks include designing and implementing efficient UI components, developing modern web applications, integrating GraphQL APIs, participating in UI/UX design processes, and ensuring accessibility standards.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development with React.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) is necessary.
Experience with GraphQL, including querying, mutations, and state management with Apollo Client or similar libraries is required.
A solid understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility issues is essential.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS-in-JS solutions (e.g., styled-components, Emotion) is needed.
Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux, MobX, or React Context API) is required.
Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (e.g., Vite, Turbo, Webpack) is necessary.
A strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques is essential.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong written and communication skills with proven fluency in English are required.
Excellent ability to articulate design decisions and participate effectively in the RFC process is necessary.
