Description:

The UX Lead at Protocol will work closely with the Protocol Architecture team to enhance Ethereum's user experience.
This role emphasizes user research, strategic UX thinking, and influencing protocol-layer decisions prior to UI development.
The UX Lead will establish and integrate UX best practices within Protocol, ensuring user experience is prioritized in technical design and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities include conducting user-focused research to identify pain points and opportunities within Ethereum’s ecosystem.
The UX Lead will collaborate with various technical teams to improve their understanding and execution of user-centered design.
The role involves driving user-focused discussions, articulating trade-offs, and shaping decisions that affect the global Ethereum community.
The position requires a strategic and tactical approach, balancing vision articulation with hands-on execution.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in technical domains related to Ethereum or crypto products such as wallets, apps, infrastructure, or protocols.
A proven ability to conduct thorough user research, clearly distill insights, and integrate them into product development is essential.
Strong collaborative and communication skills are required, along with experience advocating for UX best practices among technical teams.

This is a full-time, fully remote position with flexible hours, though availability around "Eth o’clock" (14:00 UTC) for synchronous calls is expected.
Opportunities to travel a few times a year to relevant events, such as devcon or interop, are available.
