Most engineers learn Unity through casual games and stay in that lane. My path has been different — I've shipped gameplay systems across four distinct high-stakes domains: real-money gaming (MPL, where a bug means real financial loss), defence-sector simulation (fighter pilot training, where accuracy is safety-critical), live-service simulation (Star Chef, a 3-year LiveOps cycle), and now cross-engine slot development in Dubai (Cocos Creator — a new engine, tight timelines, no room for error).

Each domain built a different muscle:

RMG (MPL) made me paranoid in the right way — server-authoritative architecture, anti-cheat, tamper-proof state. 100K+ daily matches, sub-150ms matchmaking latency. Defence simulation taught me precision — integrating an ML-trained autonomous AI model where "close enough" isn't acceptable. Live-service (99 Games) taught me patience and systems thinking — three years on one game, building reusable architecture that scales with it. Dubai/Agapi proved I can take on an unfamiliar engine (Cocos Creator + TypeScript) and deliver a production-ready build under aggressive deadlines, from scratch.

What makes me unique: Most senior Unity engineers go deep in one genre. I'm a cross-domain problem-solver — a pattern that works in a casual game can directly inform how I approach a fairness problem in RMG, or a real-time constraint in simulation, because I've lived in both worlds. 9+ shipped titles, 90M+ combined users, and a track record of adapting fast to new engines and stacks whenever the project demanded it (Unity → Cocos, and whatever comes next). That's not generalist dabbling — it's proof I can deliver senior-level output on any stack, fast.

Employment History

Senior Game Developer at Agapi, Dubai, UAE Current 2025 - Now
● Led delivery of a production-ready mobile slot game end-to-end, rapidly adopting Cocos Creator and TypeScript under aggressive timelines. ● Designed client-side gameplay logic and UI components integrated with backend APIs for real-time functionality. ● Architected a modular, scalable gameplay framework, cutting new-developer onboarding time and enabling long-term extensibility. ● Shipped a production-ready Android build optimised for performance, stability, and cross-device compatibility. ● Used AI-assisted design tools to produce and integrate production-ready UI assets, accelerating development while maintaining visual consistency.
Senior Development Engineer III at Mobile Premier League (MPL), Bangalore, India Current 2022 - Now
Bingo — Real-Money Multiplayer | Dec 2024 – Oct 2025 ● Built a matchmaking system handling 100K+ daily matches with average latency under 150ms, using socket-based real- time multiplayer across RMG markets in India and the US. ● Designed client-side gameplay, UI, and matchmaking systems integrated with backend APIs, supporting high concurrent player loads. ● Led code reviews and quality practices; supported live releases including monitoring and issue resolution to protect uptime and player trust. ● Optimised rendering and asset-loading pipeline, improving frame stability across mid-to-low-range Android devices. ● Built an anti-cheat bot-detection system to maintain RMG compliance and fair-play integrity. Winpatti (3 Card Poker) — RMG Card Game | Feb 2022 – Dec 2024 ● Improved rendering performance by 35%, raising FPS from 28 to 52 on mid-range Android devices. ● Designed a server-authoritative game model ensuring tamper-proof game state for real-money play. ● Architected client-server synchronisation for lag-tolerant multiplayer across variable Indian network conditions. ● Scaled RMG-specific features supporting MPL's growth in India and US regulated markets.
Autonomy Researcher at New Space Research and Technologies, Bangalore, India 2020 - 2022
● Led development of a realistic combat-training flight simulation for fighter-pilot training in Unity, integrating an ML-trained autonomous aircraft AI model. ● Owned project architecture end-to-end; integrated VFX, SFX, and 3D LOD optimisations for real-time simulation performance. ● Configured Rewired input controls and implemented UDP networking for low-latency flight responsiveness.
Senior Game Developer at 99 Games 2015 - 2020
Star Chef — Restaurant Management Simulation (Android & iOS) | Nov 2015 – Oct 2018 ● Contributed to development, LiveOps, and feature expansion of Star Chef, a flagship simulation title, over a 3-year production cycle. ● Built reusable gameplay systems, UI modules, Spine animations, and waypoint-based AI; optimised asset loading using LibZip. ● Integrated Firebase App Indexing and optimised gameplay performance across Android and iOS. Dhoom 3 — 3D Endless Runner (YRF Licensed) | Feb 2019 – Jun 2019 ● Built gameplay systems for the YRF-licensed title integrated into the Game Gully multi-game platform, including procedural track generation, object pooling, waypoint AI, and curve-based difficulty progression. ● Mentored junior Unity developers on gameplay programming, debugging, code quality, and performance optimisation. Mogul — Base Building & Resource Management Simulation (Unreleased) | 2018 – Aug 2020, Parallel ● Built modular systems for resource management, room construction, character simulation, and progression mechanics over a two-year production cycle. Bubble Shooter & Fruit Link — Casual Puzzle Games | Jul 2019 – Aug 2020 ● Built core gameplay systems, procedural level generation, and progression mechanics; developed scoring algorithms and automated bot systems for balancing and hack detection.
