Staff Software Engineer building production AI for documents and search: document extraction, LLM applications, and semantic search.
At Knowde, a chemistry-information marketplace, I co-led the Knowledge Engine, built for 50k+ files a day, and fully owned its orchestration and document processing. I like scoping the work with the domain experts, then designing the system and staying in the code until it runs in production.
Natural geek: as a teen, my favorite reads were hacking sites, green text on black only. First full-time software job at 19. My hobby projects include an agent harness, RAG evals, and deep learning models from scratch in PyTorch.
