Software Engineer
I’m a software engineer from Istanbul with six years of experience, and I’ve worked at nearly every layer of the stack. I started in modern C++ on a packet inspection engine running at multi-gigabit line rate, then spent four years on a six-person remote team at a US company, building and running a platform for clinicians with over a million registered users. Alongside that, I built NextLangua on my own, an AI language-learning app with 20,000+ downloads, covering everything from the FastAPI backend and React Native app to the Kubernetes cluster, payments, and fine-tuned models I serve myself.
What makes me different is the mix. I’m an engineer who also writes: I’ve published three books in philosophy and a Linux and C course with 5,000+ students, so I care about explaining things clearly as much as building them. I speak Turkish, English and Arabic, and I chair a charity running education programs for migrant children.
I’m looking for a remote role as an AI/LLM engineer, or a senior full-stack or backend role with real ownership. I’m open to full-time, long-term contract, or founding-engineer roles at early startups.
