As a Software Test Engineer, I was responsible for ensuring end-to-end software quality across enterprise-grade web applications by applying structured testing methodologies, strong domain expertise, and advanced automation practices. My role covered the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including requirement analysis, test planning, manual and automation test execution, defect management, regression testing, and release validation. I consistently aligned testing activities with business objectives, system architecture, and customer expectations to deliver stable, scalable, and high-performing applications while minimizing production risks and supporting faster release cycles. I actively participated in requirement analysis by reviewing BRDs, FRDs, technical documents, and Agile user stories to understand business workflows, functional dependencies, and integration points. I collaborated closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and QA leads during requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to clarify ambiguities, identify testable requirements, and assess risk areas. Based on these inputs, I derived comprehensive test scenarios covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge cases, ensuring thorough functional and non-functional coverage across releases. I was extensively involved in manual testing across multiple domains, including e-commerce and healthcare applications. My responsibilities included designing and executing detailed manual test cases for complex workflows such as user registration, authentication, product search, cart management, checkout, payment processing, order management, and returns. In healthcare systems, I validated patient registration, appointment scheduling, EMR/EHR workflows, billing, and insurance claims processing. I executed smoke, sanity, and full regression testing cycles to ensure system stability following enhancements, bug fixes, and deployments. I performed detailed UI and usability testing to validate layout consistency, responsiveness, and user experience across browsers and devices. I ensured accuracy of dynamic UI elements, dashboards, forms, filters, reports, alerts, and notifications. I also performed extensive data validation by verifying pricing, discounts, taxes, billing calculations, refunds, and backend data consistency using SQL queries. In parallel, I played a key role in automation testing using Playwright by designing and maintaining scalable frameworks based on Page Object Model (POM), BDD, Data-Driven, and Hybrid approaches. I automated critical business flows such as user onboarding, product search, cart operations, checkout, payments, and order validation. I leveraged Playwright features including auto-waiting, parallel execution, network interception, screenshots, videos, and trace viewer to ensure reliable execution and faster debugging. I conducted cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, WebKit, Chrome, and Edge to ensure consistent behavior and performance across environments. I also performed REST API testing using Postman and Playwright APIRequestContext to validate backend services, integrations, and data flow between systems. I designed and executed regression suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, ensuring continuous testing and early defect detection. Defect management was a core responsibility, where I logged and tracked issues in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and traces. I collaborated with developers on root cause analysis, participated in defect triage, and ensured timely retesting and validation of fixes. I worked closely within Agile Scrum teams, actively participating in all ceremonies and providing clear visibility into testing progress, risks, and quality metrics. Supported DevOps by integrating automation into CI/CD, generating Allure reports,enabling Docker execution,monitoring AWS,ensuring healthcare compliance,and delivering high-quality.
