I am an Embedded Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in firmware development, BLE, Sensor Integration and Embedded Cyber Security. I've worked on safety-critical devices, embedded cybersecurity and hardware-software integration, taking projects from concept to market ready products. I'm looking for remote role where I can apply my Embedded/IoT expertise to build real, reliable products whether that's firmware development, firmware security or full stack embedded engineering.

Employment History

Embedded Systems Engineer at PowerSoft19 Current 2022 - Now
At PowerSoft19, I work on both certified safety-critical products and next-generation wireless gas-monitoring systems for the company's industrial gas detection client, Industrial Scientific Corporation. I developed and maintained Gateway devices relaying Gas Area Monitor and Peer Instrument data to backend infrastructure over 2.4GHz Synapse Radio mesh networks, and contributed to Zone 0/Zone 1 certified, MISRA-C compliant products, including Gas Alarm Gateways maintained to the EN 50271 standard for gas detection equipment. I also led EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance efforts, implementing EN 18031-1 and EN 18031-2 requirements for connected embedded products. I'm currently driving new product development, evolving an Area Monitor into a networked Gateway Area Monitor and building next-generation Peer Gas Devices on BLE/WirePas based mesh networks. Alongside this, I authored UML diagrams to model firmware data flow and sequence logic, maintained technical documentation for assigned projects, and helped migrate project repositories from SVN to GitLab, training colleagues on Git workflows in the process.
Embedded Systems Engineer at MikroStarTech 2019 - 2022
As an Embedded Systems Engineer at MikroStarTech, I developed firmware for multiple BLE-based wearable devices, including a health monitoring bracelet (heart rate, SpO2, temperature, motion, and audio tracking), and social distancing and quarantine monitoring bands with real time proximity alerts and tamper detection. I built GATT services, local data logging via external Data-Flash, and OTA/DFU update support, while optimizing for low power consumption and working on PCB bring-up and field validation. I also developed firmware for an Advanced LTE Vehicle Tracker using FreeRTOS, integrating GPS, motion detection, geofencing, and reliable LTE telemetry with OTA support, and built BLE Mesh gateway firmware on nRF52 to control synchronized stadium lighting across a multi-node network. Alongside development, I mentored team members, trained new hires on the Embedded and Firmware team, and introduced Git based version control practices across the team.
