Senior PHP / Laravel full-stack developer with 9+ years of experience and a BEng in Automation and Applied Computer Science.

I have worked remotely for clients in Sweden, the Netherlands, the UK and the US, on internal platforms, data tooling and customer-facing apps. In most of those projects I owned a part of the product end to end and kept it running. Most recently (2023-2026) I owned the Laravel + Vue + Filament platform a Swedish company used to configure and deliver over 1 million synthetic training images.

Stack: PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, Inertia, Filament, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS, REST APIs.

Side project: Loggd, a habit tracker and daily planner: one Laravel API behind a Vue web app and React Native apps for iOS and Android, 8,000+ users.

Looking for remote work as a B2B contractor through my own company in Romania. Open to occasional on-site and to long-term engagements.

Employment History

Senior PHP Full Stack Developer at Devant 2023 - 2026
Sweden-based company producing synthetic image datasets for in-cabin driver monitoring systems. Owned the Laravel, Vue and Filament configuration platform: delivered over 1 million synthetic images in large-scale batches that matched the exact distribution requested by the end customer, rebuilt the platform into v2 (admin, assets, ingestion, API), and built per-client collections so every batch could use its own assets and overrides.
Senior PHP Developer at Vesting Finance 2022 - 2023
Netherlands-based financial solutions company. Joined at short notice and maintained and developed the application on my own. Redesigned the database with a new relationship table that replaced an unlimited number of columns, and kept the application running with no incidents. PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Azure DevOps.
Senior PHP Developer at TrainEasy 2021 - 2022
UK eLearning provider. Built a course management system with per-user permissions that helped secure two new contracts worth over 50k GBP, redesigned existing components based on client feedback, and restricted user access to what each role needs. Laravel, Vue.js, MySQL.
Senior PHP Developer at Newroco 2019 - 2021
Client projects for UK and US companies. ContrAI (UK law firm): built two AI training apps from scratch that automated most daily contract handling. Burial Register (UK): digital records system with over 100,000 records, search time down from 10 minutes to under half a second, accessibility standards. Calmnest (US): video session scheduling with Google Calendar and Stripe split payments. Laravel, Vue.js, PostgreSQL.
PHP Developer at Webmagnat 2018 - 2019
Romanian web agency. Built a customizable eCommerce application from reusable packages that doubled the delivery rate, and redesigned existing components for easier long-term maintenance. Laravel, Laravel Nova, CodeIgniter, MySQL.

Romanian electrical products distributor. Built their responsive eCommerce application with online payments, which increased monthly sales by over $5k, and improved their SEO to more than 1k monthly unique visitors. PHP, MySQL, WordPress.
