Software Engineer

I started programming from embedded system using ATMega using C. After that I learn Assembly language in college to program a flashed ATMega chips to control LEDs. I started to love programming after seeing the LED blink and control it using a bizzare assembly language. I don't stop at one language but keep jumping on a bandwagon, building website with HTML, CSS, JS then learn bootstrap, ReactJS, NextJS, continue with backend to build real-time monitoring and IoT like controlling LED remotely.

My first professional experience was with Python to do web scraping and work along a lead engineer to migrate the scraping server. After that, I join a blockchain team to learn about Ethereum until I can write multiple Smart Contracts, engaging with auditor and designing off-chain and on-chain system. My 4 years professional experience opened my eyes to focus more on security, reliability, and observability of a system.

A reliable system for a customer is only as good as if it has good observability for the developer to help debug when something goes wrong and tune its performance. My interest on security also started to pique my interest since during working in blockchain environment, there is a lot of coodinated hack, even sophisticated one to exploit a smart contract. It makes me want to learn about red teaming and researching a malware.

My current focus currently is on AI and security. I wrote on my blogs about my exploration using AI to exploit a project and propose a patch. Also taught myself the first principle of LLM. At times, I wrote a minimum script with OCaml just to teach me about strong-typing functional language. It forces me to design clearly my intent using types. I enjoy to keep learning and being challenged to work on something with minimum supervision and guidance.
