Senior Data Engineer

Data & ML Engineer with an M.Eng. in Artificial Intelligence of Autonomous Systems, building production data platforms and autonomous trading agents at Enmacc, Europe's leading OTC energy trading marketplace in Munich. I work where modern data engineering meets Agentic AI.

Currently driving Enmacc's Data Modernization initiative evolving AWS data lake into a governed, warehouse-grade platform across two pillars:

• Data Governance: Lake Formation tag-based access control with persona-based grants, delivered as code (AWS CDK), replacing manual console grants with auditable, reviewable access-as-code.

• Data Platform & Warehousing: a dbt transformation and semantic layer with enforced testing and CI/CD gates, alongside a migration to Amazon Redshift for near-realtime and agentic AI workloads.

Beyond that, my work spans the full data stack: Medallion architectures on AWS (Glue, S3, Athena, Lambda), pipelines orchestrated with Apache Airflow, and infrastructure provisioned with Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation. I led an analytics transformation from Power BI/Tableau to ThoughtSpot, bringing natural-language search analytics to trading decisions, and I'm now integrating finance data end-to-end for self-serve FP&A analytics.

On the AI side, I design goal-oriented trading agents using Google ADK and Amazon Bedrock. My M.Eng. thesis, "Simulating OTC Energy Liquidity: Evaluating LLM Multi-Agent Systems in RFQ Dynamics", benchmarked Gemini 2.5 Flash agents against deterministic rule-based agents in wholesale energy trading simulations.

Before enmacc, I spent 5+ years in enterprise data engineering:

• Royal Cyber: migrated legacy insurance and finance systems (Mainframe, SAP, DB2) to Snowflake using Data Vault 2.0, Talend, Kafka, and Airflow.

• Astera Software: core contributor to Data Warehouse Builder, a low-code, metadata-driven DWH platform with automated Data Vault generation.
