Senior full-stack developer (Java+Spring)

I’m a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer with 15+ years in IT and 8+ years focused on Java, with focus on Spring Boot framework and Angular on the front-end. I’ve worked in banking and fintech environments in Portugal, building and maintaining microservices, REST APIs and process-driven applications using Spring Boot, Camunda, message brokers (RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ) and Angular on my daily basis, but also react on some freelancers and for fun.

What makes me different is that I combine strong backend fundamentals with real product thinking, mostly due to my previous experience on freelancing and with direct contact with the client. I don’t just code features — I analyze requirements, challenge solutions when needed and think about long-term maintainability. I’m comfortable working in complex environments, troubleshooting production issues and integrating with third-party systems.
