Senior Backend Engineer

I'm a senior backend engineer with 9+ years building production systems, working at the intersection of backend infrastructure and applied AI.

My core is Go and Node.js/TypeScript, with deep work across cloud (GCP, AWS), distributed systems, and CI/CD. Increasingly I work where backend engineering meets LLMs, designing systems that are reliable, observable, and built to scale.

The clearest expression of that is CloudOracle, an open-source multi-cloud FinOps tool I built: a Go CLI core, a GitHub Action that runs cost analysis on Terraform pull requests, and a Python/LangGraph layer that turns raw cloud spend into AI-driven insights. It started as a problem I kept running into, teams flying blind on cloud cost and grew into a set of patterns I care about: clean architecture, structured LLM orchestration, and tooling that earns trust.

I also build local-first mobile products for Latin American markets, offline-first sync, multi-currency, real users which keeps me close to the messy reality of shipping software people actually depend on.

I've led engineering teams and mentored developers, but I'm at my best designing and building systems end-to-end. Right now I'm deepening my machine learning foundations formally, aiming to work on production AI systems at the highest level.

Outside of code: avid reader and gamer, always chasing the next idea worth building.
