Senior python backend developer / DevOps

Responsibilities: - Create a big ETL to replace an old COBOL program to get information from Volkswagen/Audi/Skoda car parts manufacturing partners to Volkswagen central mainframe. - Configure filters, make some Python programs to automate filter creation. - Use AWS to review logs and find differences, also automated with Python. - Review GitHub Actions to make filter tests faster. - I was replacing another developer/DevOps in a parental leave.

Responsibilities: - To create a project for migrate on-prem services to GCP services. - Test all parts and document the project. - Deploy GCS buckets, Cloud Run Functions, Docker Cloud Run Jobs, Apache Airflow Composer, GitLab pipelines, Serverless VPCs, GCS triggers. - Made part of DBT backend for data transformations. Achievements: - Created and tested all services before the deployment exactly as documented previously and according to Renault rules for development. - Search for information, including IA, about how to setup some restricted services. - Made a configurable GitLab pipeline to deploy the same code individually by country.

Responsibilities: - To deploy private models made by data scientists with AWS CloudFormation/CDK. - To make IaC with Terraform. - To Run CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline or Gitlab. - To make some AWS Python development with Boto3 library. Achievements: - Developed, documented and deployed AWS services, like CodeArtifact for a full data scientist department with CI/CD Gitlab pipeline to create the python package and store in the CodeArtifact. - Gave support to data scientists, mainly creating new repositories with project starters and setup the infrastructure of the project. - Created a AWS CDK typescript pipeline to deploy Multimodel endpoints and shadow variants in Sagemaker for the data scientists team. - Get old files from AWS CodeCommit running into commits backwards to find old versions of certain files to compare with newest files, using python boto3 library.

Responsibilities: - Made some Python modules for gathering casinos games data and send to Spanish Government Game Control Office in its official XML format. - Used GCP BigQuery as main database for all data source and conversions. - Made a FastAPI API point in EC2 for the clients data loading and in BigQuery. - Conversion of selected client data to XML for exporting to Spanish Government Game Control Office.

Responsibilities: - Make demonstration web projects with the machine learning libraries produced from my team with Python FastAPI and created the infrastructure to deploy it. - Migrate old projects done with MySQL to MongoDB and setup again on Kubernetes. - Create Apache Airflow DAGs for getting EUIPO internal data. - Deploy with Bitbucket and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline to Kubernetes (ArgoCD). Achievements: - Created FastAPI API points to connect AI libraries with Python Streamlit websites. - Set up and debug projects in Jenkins and Kubernetes at the most low level to make it run. - Develop Airflow DAG ETL daily pipelines.

Responsibilities: - Develop a Python version of insurance reserving for monthly and quarterly closings all Zurich clients worldwide on AWS Sagemaker Jupyter Notebook. - Sanitize big rows of data in AWS with Pyspark and EMR. - Setup an AWS EC2 RHEL 8 Linux server for a frontend, backend and login service. - Mentoring the junior partner on my team. - Recommend the appropriate services for the project. - Setup Contrast as tool for server monitoring. - Integrate Active Directory and 2FA in frontend to categorize users. Achievements: - Reduced reserving program execution time from 1 hour to only 2 minutes with Python multiprocessing and Sagemaker Machine Learning. - Updated RHEL 8 server Python version to 3.9, installed all needed python libraries, patched system programs, setup nginx and build a new Systemd service to start flask. - Used AWS CloudFormation, CodeCommit and Artifact to setup services from development to production. - Made a backend on Python FastAPI, then security team told me to make backend inside AWS and make same FastAPI backend on AWS API Gateway. - Added Okta 2FA on frontend for login users integrated with company’s Active Directory. - Used two-way cryptography to securely upload data to S3 in AWS.

Responsibilities: - Develop many projects with crypto trading finance bots, ETL pipelines for real time data, replicate operations from Bitcoin spot on futures or send money between wallets, also trading with the better ask/bid calculation combination always with Python. - Developed a system with RabbitMQ to analyze a group of stocks and decide quick the buying or selling by an indicators system for a NY trader in AWS. - Used GCP Compute Engine to bring up a server for making the backend of a trading website, working hands-on with the frontend team with React and made API points with flask for provide data to the frontend - Made the backend part of a schools management website: pupils, teachers, schedules, etc. with MySQL and Django for a team of frontend developers with React. - Develop a bunch of serverless Python applications in AWS Lambda for Chick-Fil-A a restaurant chain in the USA some of them with Sagemaker AI. - Develop a AI program to get gender of Twitter users with a Bayesian algorithm based on race, religion and political views. - Develop horse betting software and setup server and environment (still maintaining today) all in Python using MySQL, Openpyxl and Flask, deployed on a VPS. Achievements: - Deployed a program that is able to get more than 200 crypto exchanges (with all their assets) in 5 seconds pace to a California client. - Got Yelp Chick-Fil-A all restaurant comments from API and used Sagemaker AI then marked comments as positive, negative or neutral, also discovered all restaurants that has 3 or more FBI sanitary complaints with AWS Redshift. - Created a horse betting software that makes 250 daily calculations with data since 2005 to today in only 1 minute, the client get an Excel file with all calculation results from a Python flask server. - Some of the projects uses Docker or Kubernetes, also I made CI/CD from Bitbucket to deploy directly on AWS EC2 or VPS servers.

Responsibilities: - Build a full CRM from scratch for a internship tourism german company in PHP. - Modify osCommerce behaviour for a e-commerce web site. Achievements: - Made the full CRM with a full text search tool. - Setup a Linux server and its services for the CRM as a central server. - Connected program invoices with accountability using ODBC on SQL Server. - Managed Bremen office from Spain. - Created a Python script to synchronize web database with internal CRM database.

Responsibilities: - Repair and extend a group of Perl stats scripts from log files of all Vodafone’s logs from Spain and Germany phone Internet access. - Reporting to Vodafone’s marketing department directly. Achievements: - Prisacom has their own PHP framework, learned it myself in only 15 days. - Made an automatic decompress and deployment of educational contents in Santillana website.

Responsibilities: - Maintain all computer infrastructure on main office and remote offices. - Maintain and create main Informix applications and SCO Unix server. - Make tons of SQL stored procedures on Informix for making listings and calculations. Achievements: - Created Perl scripts to get packages data from other companies from email and insert automatically on main Informix application database. - Made the conversion of Spanish coin peseta to euro with 100% success, take into account that peseta was always an integer number and euro is a decimal or float. - Setup and maintain mail server and proxy servers on a Linux Debian server. - Connected remote company offices to main office database.
