Senior backend engineer with 14 years building and operating scalable, cloud-native platforms, mostly in Go and Java.
Most recently I worked on Bitcoin mining infrastructure at Luxor Technology. Before that I spent almost four years at Starian building containerized Go services processing roughly 3.5M API events per day off Kafka and persisting to PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB. A few things I'm proud of there: cutting an API Gateway's memory footprint from 12GB to 2GB with no loss of throughput or tenant isolation, turning manual API governance reviews into near real-time feedback inside CI/CD, and shipping an AI Gateway that let 14 autonomous teams deliver AI features safely behind centralized governance and secure runtime secret injection.
What sets me apart is caring as much about how a system behaves in production as how it is designed. Chaos engineering, graceful shutdowns, health checks and observability are habits for me, not checkboxes.
I am looking for a senior or staff backend/platform role on a distributed team, on systems where reliability and scale actually matter.
