Senior Frontend Developer

A SaaS platform built from scratch to help companies achieve and maintain security compliance certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Co-leading frontend development end-to-end across multiple product modules as one of two frontend engineers; Designed and maintained a reusable MUI/React component library of 50+ components used across 90+ pages of the platform; Implementing and extending compliance tracking, reporting dashboards, search and filtering, authorisation flows, and feature flag modules; Implementing authorisation flows and multi-factor authentication (MFA) using AWS Amplify and AWS Cognito; Reduced initial JavaScript bundle size by ~20% by implementing lazy loading across 140+ modal and drawer components using React.lazy and Suspense; Designed and built a collaborative policy editor using Lexical - custom nodes, inline commenting, and table support - enabling 200+ enterprise compliance teams to author and review policy documents directly in the platform; Managing asynchronous data flows and server state caching with TanStack Query to optimise rendering performance in data-heavy views; Collaborating directly with product managers, designers, and backend engineers on feature planning and delivery; Mentoring and onboarding new team members.
