In late 2024 I with a group of friends founded a company that built runtimes for secure compute, and although we couldn't eventually go-to-market with it, we had a great deal of learning from it with one of us going on to found another great company (https://mirageprivacy.com).

I especially had the opportunity to work close to the metal as we were working with secure modules in Intel CPUs called SGX. I caught a bug for writing low-level systems and haven't satisfied the itch so, I've gone on to try my hands on things such as:

  1. https://github.com/notxorand/fawna - I tried my hand on processing high throughput analytical data and built an entire storage engine around it. This library is the derivative of that. I have a writing for it: https://slung.tech/blog/intro.
  2. https://github.com/slunghq/slung - A compute system that replaces workflows with ECS based data structuring which enables implicit task execution. Based on work by NASA known as CLIPS (rule engines).

Employment History

Contract Full-stack Developer at Thena 2024 - 2024
+ Architected and deployed the greenfield wallet-based authentication protocol for the Arena product line from zero. + Diagnosed and resolved a critical cascading performance regression on the frontend layer, significantly reducing user drop-off metrics.
Co-founder & Core Engineer at ZERO Labs Ltd 2024 - 2025
+ Co-designed and engineered Slipstream, a stateless, serverless runtime inside Intel SGX Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) using Rust. + Architected secure hardware-isolated compute boundaries to enforce strict zero trust execution guarantees. + Designed high-throughput memory isolation interfaces to isolate multi-tenant workloads with zero runtime overhead.
