I’m a Network and IT Infrastructure Engineer with over eight years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise, ISP and multi-site environments. My background covers routing and switching, firewalls and VPNs, enterprise and fixed wireless, Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, data-centre infrastructure, VoIP, and network monitoring and observability.
In my current role, I support ICT infrastructure across eight sites serving more than 500 users, working with technologies including Cisco, Fortinet, MikroTik, Ubiquiti and Cambium. I have also implemented centralized monitoring and logging using Zabbix, Grafana, Wazuh, Loki and syslog. Earlier in my career, I designed and supported networks for organizations across healthcare, education, government and retail, and I have also worked remotely supporting a North American ISP.
What sets me apart is that I enjoy working across the infrastructure stack rather than looking at network issues in isolation. I’m comfortable troubleshooting routing, wireless, firewall, server and monitoring problems and following incidents through to resolution. I also enjoy improving existing environments through better monitoring, documentation, automation and infrastructure design.
I’m looking for a remote Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Network Operations/NOC, Systems & Network, or Infrastructure Support role where I can contribute my experience while continuing to grow technically.
