SRE | Dynatrace Observability Engineer

Manage and administer enterprise-scale Dynatrace environments, including OneAgent and ActiveGate. Implement APM, infrastructure, logs, traces, and cloud-native monitoring across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Lambda, and Fargate. Build DQL queries, dashboards, SLI/SLOs, anomaly detection, and alerting solutions. Configure OpenPipeline for telemetry processing, routing, enrichment, masking, and hashing of sensitive data. Troubleshoot production issues and participate in P1 incident calls, supporting root cause analysis and resolution. Work directly with US-based clients and application teams to understand observability requirements and resolve monitoring issues. Implement Dynatrace automation using APIs, scripting, Terraform, and workflow integrations. Integrate Dynatrace alerts and workflows with ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams. Optimize Dynatrace usage and licensing costs through appropriate data retention, buckets, segments, and monitoring best practices. Mentor application teams on Dynatrace capabilities, self-service monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and observability best practices.

Worked with New Relic APM to monitor application performance, service health, response time, throughput, and error rates. Created and maintained dashboards, alerts, and NRQL queries for application and infrastructure monitoring. Analyzed transactions, errors, distributed traces, and application dependencies to troubleshoot performance issues. Supported production incidents and root cause analysis using New Relic telemetry. Configured alert conditions and notification mechanisms based on application requirements. Worked with application teams to identify performance bottlenecks and improve application observability. Monitored infrastructure and application telemetry across cloud environments. Supported observability activities involving New Relic alongside Dynatrace and contributed to migration/transition initiatives from New Relic to Dynatrace.
