Backend Engineer | Node.js, TypeScript | AI & MCP Integrations | Event-Driven Systems | GCP | Web3 | Solidity

I’m a Backend Engineer with around 5 years of experience building and maintaining production backend systems with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS/Express, GCP, Firebase, SQL/NoSQL databases, and async/event-driven workflows.

In my recent role, I worked as the primary backend engineer on a production social/sports platform, where I owned backend architecture, production reliability, data flows, API development, and cloud infrastructure. I designed a fan-out architecture for faster post retrieval, optimized Firebase Realtime Database flows to reduce infrastructure costs, migrated a large backend codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript, and built AI-powered backend workflows using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and LangSmith.

I’m looking for Backend Engineer or backend-heavy Full-Stack roles, preferably remote and B2B/contract-based. I’m especially interested in products involving scalable backend systems, AI integrations, developer tools, fintech, social platforms, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven architecture.

What sets me apart is that I combine hands-on backend development with production ownership: I care not only about writing code, but also about reliability, scalability, debugging, maintainability, and real product impact. I’m also actively expanding into Web3 and Solidity through Alchemy’s Ethereum/Solidity course, building practical understanding of smart contracts, EVM concepts, and how blockchain systems connect with backend applications.
