My Brother, who is now a Sr DevOps Engineer (6 yrs exp), Introduced me to DevOps. After learning the basics through Courses on KodeKloud and YouTube, I wanted to have some Practical Knowledge of DevOps.
So I contacted other Engineers on LinkedIn and got to know about the Projects in which they leant the most. Then I made some Personal Projects by combining what they told, and performed them by myself without any guidance. I showed them clearly on a Github Repo (Not the one mentioned here).
Then after me and my Brother though I had enough hands-on knowledge, I started apply for a "DevOps Intern" Role. I finally was hired at Aurva. I worked Rmeotely there under Sr Engineers, who walked me through every aspect of the Infra. It was a SaaS based Data Security Company so Security was a big focus there.
I did that internship for 4 months, then I was offered an Onsite Role at Conrad Labs. There I worked in many more SaaS-Based Envionments across different Industries like, EduTech, Ecom, Software Development, etc.
Along my Journey I learned several Tools / Services (mentioned in Resume) and continue to do so. Moreover during this time I also managed to land some Part-time remote DevOps Contracts. Furthermore most of the Projects I've worked on are C2C.
Now from my Learning side I'm also currently pursuing an AWS Certification (would be completed in 1-2 months), and am looking to switch to a Remote Role.
Thanks for your Time, Zoraiz Ahmad
