AbbVie is seeking a seasoned AEM Cloud Architect responsible for managing AEM web applications.
This role involves leading strategic planning, fostering team collaborations, and hands-on oversight of the web development lifecycle from design through delivery.
The aim is to ensure these applications are aligned with business objectives and leverage advanced technology standards.
The architect will conceive, design, engineer, and implement data and software solutions that solve significant scientific or business problems.
Responsibilities include generating new proposals, leading efforts, and investigating state-of-the-art technology platforms to drive productivity and efficiency.
The architect will act as a lead in their area of expertise and evaluate relevant technological advances to integrate into new business technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing AEM and/or Non-AEM web solutions, defining project scope, conducting code reviews, overseeing deployment processes, and integrating AEM web applications with third-party platforms.
The role requires demonstrating creative problem-solving and championing new technologies to achieve project goals.
The architect will be responsible for technology within their area of expertise across multiple projects and must demonstrate mastery in data and software engineering.
A deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical business is essential to advance agile, impactful, and cost-effective solutions.
The architect will shape relationships with affiliates, vendors, and industry peers, and may mentor or supervise a team.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's Degree with 7 years of experience, or a PhD with 3 years of experience in application program development is required.
In-depth knowledge of the systems development life cycle, client area functions, and systems application program development technological alternatives is necessary.
Proven experience in web application management, web CMS, and/or Enterprise Content Management, specifically with the AEM platform, is required.
A deep understanding of AEM as a Cloud service, including Sites, Assets, Workflows, and Headless capabilities, is essential.
Strong knowledge of AEM Architecture patterns and experience with Java, JSP, Apache Sling, and RESTful APIs is required.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
A strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and compliance processes is necessary.
Experience in Solution Architecture and evolving integration patterns is required.
