Description:
Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an AEM Front End Developer to join a remote project.
The developer will work alongside internal teams and external clients, focusing on enterprise-level clients.
Responsibilities include managing front end development tasks for Adobe Experience Manager (CQ5 and AEM6) projects.
The role involves collaborating with software developers, UX/UI designers, and product developers.
The developer will design and build highly interactive interfaces and content to enhance user engagement and brand equity.
Tasks include slicing, marking up, and scripting interfaces for responsive websites that function seamlessly across devices.
The developer will work directly with servers and server-side technologies such as AJAX and JavaScript.
Responsibilities also include creating events and listeners for meaningful reporting using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Marketing Suite.
The role requires leveraging APIs and web services, delivering products based on wireframes and client requirements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager - CQ5/AEM6) front end development.
Proficiency in HTML, JSP, HTL, and other templating languages is required.
Strong understanding of JavaScript principles and fundamentals is necessary.
Experience with jQuery and customizing plugins is essential.
Extensive knowledge of Git and Git commands is required.
Familiarity with Bootstrap 3 and CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS) is necessary.
Experience with front end frameworks and task runners is required.
Knowledge of MVC frameworks and core principles (Angular, React, Vue) is essential.
Proficiency in AJAX, JSON, and REST/SOAP web services is required.
Experience with Sightly/HTL and familiarity with responsive design principles is necessary.
Understanding of ADA/accessibility and accessibility markup is required.
