Remote AI Engineer

Description:

• Develop and maintain APIs using the FastAPI framework.
• Implement background tasks and asynchronous processing to optimize system performance.
• Design and build LLM-powered features and pipelines (RAG, agents, tool use, multi-step reasoning chains).
• Manage context engineering, structuring prompts, and optimizing token usage for LLMs.
• Work with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) and orchestration frameworks.
• Build evaluation and testing frameworks for LLM outputs (accuracy, hallucination detection).
• Implement guardrails, content filtering, and responsible AI patterns.
• Optimize latency and cost for LLM-heavy workloads (caching, streaming, batching).
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Python development.
• Proven experience with FastAPI framework.
• Proficiency in MongoDB database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
