Description:

  • We are looking for talented Analytics Engineers to join our Data Mission, where you’ll transform data into valuable insights that enhance user experiences and empower our analyst community.
  • You will use a cutting-edge tech stack, including dbt and Databricks, to build powerful pipelines that drive meaningful impact.
  • You will collaborate with teams across our business to design and build data products that directly support our 25 million users in making more empowered financial decisions.
  • You will use your data expertise to empower our analysts and business users to get the most from our data.
  • As part of an engineering team, you will work with best practices to build high quality, reliable data pipelines.
  • You will show genuine curiosity about the many ways in which our data is used to impact our business and our users.
  • You will take a creative approach to solving business problems and automating day-to-day processes.
  • You will communicate about our datasets and capabilities to less technical users and empower them to self-serve insights and tools.

Requirements:

  • You must be a power user of SQL and be comfortable using it to prepare and transform large datasets.
  • You should have 1-2 years of experience working with data in a business context.
  • You need to have experience with cloud-based data warehouses, such as Databricks.
  • You must be able to optimize your queries and pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
  • Experience with DBT, Data Orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a bonus.
  • You should love to think about creative solutions to problems and have experience with automating processes or data pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills are required, along with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You must write clear and effective documentation that considers the needs of its audience.
