You will use a cutting-edge tech stack, including dbt and Databricks, to build powerful pipelines that drive meaningful impact.
You will collaborate with teams across our business to design and build data products that directly support our 25 million users in making more empowered financial decisions.
You will use your data expertise to empower our analysts and business users to get the most from our data.
As part of an engineering team, you will work with best practices to build high quality, reliable data pipelines.
You will show genuine curiosity about the many ways in which our data is used to impact our business and our users.
You will take a creative approach to solving business problems and automating day-to-day processes.
You will communicate about our datasets and capabilities to less technical users and empower them to self-serve insights and tools.
Requirements:
You must be a power user of SQL and be comfortable using it to prepare and transform large datasets.
You should have 1-2 years of experience working with data in a business context.
You need to have experience with cloud-based data warehouses, such as Databricks.
You must be able to optimize your queries and pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
Experience with DBT, Data Orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a bonus.
You should love to think about creative solutions to problems and have experience with automating processes or data pipelines.
Strong communication skills are required, along with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
You must write clear and effective documentation that considers the needs of its audience.
