  • You will be leading a team focused on building a high-impact application that’s expected to grow significantly over the next 6 to 12 months, and your leadership will be key to that growth.
  • The product is an iOS and Android streaming app that targets users in the USA and Tier-1 markets, facilitating safe communication among people with similar interests.
  • Key strengths of the app include a user-friendly UX/UI, high-quality video with beauty effects, and no ads.
  • The app is built without legacy code, enabling agile development and quick iteration.
  • The team uses Scrum methodology and leverages deep expertise in the field to operate in a dynamic and competitive niche.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the high-performance app, managing the Android development team, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in key technical decisions, and collaborating on ideation and feature development.

Requirements:

  • You must have 4+ years of experience in native Android development.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing development teams is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Kotlin is essential.
  • Experience with Clean Architecture and MVI is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of OOP principles and SOLID is expected.
  • You should have a passion for modern software development trends.
  • A commitment to writing high-quality, clean, and testable code (TDD, BDD) is important.
  • Knowledge of data storage solutions such as SQLite and Room is required.
  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Koin, Hilt, or Dagger 2 is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose is expected.
  • You should be confident in using third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide).
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on outcomes over process is essential.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher is required.
