Longbridge is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Web Application Developer to join the Enterprise Application Development team.
The role involves building, enhancing, and supporting consumer-facing websites like the Borrower Portal and internal web applications.
This is a full-stack development position focusing on .NET, C#, and Azure web services.
Responsibilities include developing responsive and secure web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
The developer will support the Borrower Portal and internal business applications under the guidance of senior team members.
Key duties include implementing UI components, API integrations, backend logic, and collaborating with designers and product owners.
The role requires writing clean, testable code, participating in peer reviews, troubleshooting application issues, and assisting with DevOps tasks.
Documentation for technical specifications and user support must be maintained, and best practices for security, coding standards, and version control should be followed.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in web development using .NET and C# is required.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end libraries such as React or Angular is necessary.
Experience in developing RESTful APIs and consuming external web services is essential.
Familiarity with SQL Server and the ability to write T-SQL queries is required.
An understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility is necessary.
Basic knowledge of Azure services, including App Services and Key Vault, is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with CMS platforms like Umbraco and familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps.
Exposure to secure coding principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments is a plus.
Experience in financial services or consumer-facing web applications is desirable.
