Description:

  • The Applied AI Engineer will design, build, and deploy agentic workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • The role involves working closely with customers to address real-world business problems and creating innovative agent workflows that integrate LLMs with various tools, APIs, and data sources.
  • The position requires balancing rapid iteration with enterprise requirements to evolve prototypes into stable, reusable solutions.
  • Responsibilities include defining evaluation and quality standards, debugging agent behavior, and contributing to shared frameworks for consistent delivery across customers.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript are necessary.
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience building and shipping production software, with at least 2+ years working with LLMs or AI APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with modern LLMs, vector databases, and agent/orchestration frameworks is essential.
  • Practical experience with RAG, agent workflows, evaluation, and performance optimization is required.
  • Strong agent design skills, including prompt engineering and multi-step workflows, are necessary.
  • The ability to reason about trade-offs between customization and reuse, as well as autonomy, control, cost, latency, and risk, is important.
  • Strong communication skills and experience leading technical discussions with customers or partners are required.
