Remote Applied AI Engineer

Description:

• Drive the design, build, and deployment of AI-powered experiences across Material Bank’s platform.
• Work on applied AI product development, enhancing user engagement with products and materials.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in production software and full-stack engineering.
• Proven success in designing and deploying AI/ML systems and product experiences.
• Deep experience with LLMs, embeddings, multimodal AI systems, and multi-agent frameworks.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with visual analysis systems and image-based AI workflows.
• Ability to independently take projects from concept to production.
• Strong product instincts and appreciation for aesthetics in AI experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
