Description:
- Seeking an Applied ML Engineer to develop systems combining machine learning research and production software.
- Role involves end-to-end engineering, from reading research papers to building production systems.
Requirements:
- Strong Python skills with experience in PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Understanding of ML evaluation, dataset design, and statistical uncertainty.
- Ability to implement ML methods from research papers.
- Experience in building production software, including APIs and deployment.
- Familiarity with open-weight models and LLM inference systems.
- Ability to work across backend and frontend, primarily React/TypeScript.
- Strong technical judgment and ownership in problem-solving.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
