Description:

Architect and lead Azure-based Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) solutions.
Design and maintain Azure DR architectures using Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and multi-region strategies.
Define RTO/RPO targets, recovery strategies, and application dependency mapping for Azure workloads.
Develop and govern Azure DR/BCP policies, standards, and recovery plans.
Conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for Azure and hybrid environments.
Plan, execute, and oversee Azure DR drills, failover/failback tests, and BCP exercises.
Ensure compliance and audit readiness aligned with security, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
Identify resiliency gaps and drive continuous improvement in Azure recovery capabilities.
Collaborate with cloud, application, security, and leadership teams for DR/BCP readiness.
Act as Azure DR/BCP Architect and Lead, owning governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in DR, BCP, or IT Resiliency architecture.
Strong knowledge of DR strategies, recovery planning, and risk management.
Experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and application recovery models.
Hands-on experience planning and executing DR and BCP tests.
Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and governance frameworks.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work with cross-functional and senior leadership teams.
Good to have: Experience with Azure cloud DR and Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-104).
