The Associate Principal will lead mid to large-size projects across multiple disciplines, working closely with clients, product manufacturers, contractors, and design team members.
This role requires the individual to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while providing detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
The Associate Principal is expected to delegate tasks effectively, promote teamwork, and mentor junior staff, participating in the TEECOMuniversity training program.
The position involves representing TEECOM's values, deploying technical expertise, making difficult decisions, soliciting client feedback, and developing business opportunities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent education/experience is required.
A minimum of six years of experience in physical security or electronic security systems design for facilities construction projects is necessary.
Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft Suite, and G Suite is essential.
Certifications such as EIT, CDT, PSP, and/or CPP are preferred.
The candidate must have a deep knowledge of the AEC industry and experience with large, complex construction projects, particularly in datacenters or critical infrastructure facilities.
Strong organizational, documentation, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, software, process-oriented, negotiation, emotional intelligence, mentorship, and management skills are required.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, and knowledge.
