As a Backend Engineer, you will design and develop the global authentication platform, maintaining core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure.
You will integrate with diverse identity systems, developing modules that connect with national electronic ID systems and external identity services.
The role involves building scalable systems to ensure stability while accommodating future traffic growth and feature expansion.
You will design flexible and scalable APIs for seamless integration with internal services and external partners.
Collaboration through code reviews and fostering a strong code culture is essential, as is writing clean and maintainable code.
Requirements:
Candidates should demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, going beyond assigned tasks to propose better solutions.
The ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate with teammates to define solutions is crucial.
A deep technical curiosity is required, with a solid understanding of how technologies work at their core.
Transparent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, including sharing progress and blockers openly with the team.
A strong foundation in Node.js and TypeScript is required, with at least 2 years of backend development experience.
Preferred qualifications include strong CS fundamentals, experience with authentication protocols like OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0, and experience in building early-stage products.
Understanding client environments, commitment to code quality, and experience with large-scale traffic handling are also preferred.
Familiarity with API Gateway, PaaS, SaaS development, Docker, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP) is advantageous.
