Description:

  • The Backend Data Engineer will build and maintain backend services, data pipelines, and infrastructure for the Quant team, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Strong production experience with Python/FastAPI/TypeScript/Express.
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance analysis.
  • Experience with OAuth/OIDC, JWT validation, and authorization.
  • Understanding of concurrency, retries, and distributed failure modes.
  • Security-conscious approach to input validation and logging.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills across engineering disciplines.
