The Connect Team is one of the backend teams within the technical area, consisting of 17 members organized into 4 areas, each focused on specific parts of the product.
They are seeking a mid-level backend developer with experience in PHP or Java who is eager to grow while working on a broad and complex product.
The role involves working on a mature monolith that is gradually evolving towards a more modular and scalable architecture.
Specific tasks include writing and improving new product features (40%), providing advanced support by addressing real and functional bugs (40%), and actively participating in the technical growth of the team through refactoring, continuous discussion, and sharing best practices (20%).
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development using PHP or Java is necessary.
Candidates must have knowledge and a willingness to work on legacy/monolithic code.
Solid foundations in SQL (MySQL) are required.
Experience with code testing, TDD, and SOLID principles is essential.
Advanced knowledge of the Italian language (C1) is mandatory.
Bonus points for candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Experience with profiling and optimization tools is a plus.
Familiarity with PHP/Java frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Spring, etc.) is desirable.
Knowledge of stacks such as Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, and ELK is advantageous.
Proficiency in English (B1 or higher) is a nice-to-have.
