As a Backend Engineer, you will significantly impact the performance, scalability, and flexibility of the app and API service.
Your responsibilities will include adding new features to the service and optimizing existing ones for enhanced performance.
You will face challenges such as supporting real-time messaging for 100,000 concurrent users, achieving API response times in the 10ms range, and ensuring high scalability and availability.
The role involves working with distributed databases for the Data Platform that stores user engagement data.
Requirements:
You must have 2-3 years of relevant backend programming experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is essential.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), or Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) is required.
You should have experience in developing REST APIs and working with MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, or other document databases.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with statically typed languages (e.g., Java, C#, Go), object-oriented and functional programming, Go Lang, AWS, SQL, and React.
