Description:

  • Seeking a Backend Engineer for the APM team to build systems processing Petabytes of data.
  • Responsible for developing PostHog's observability suite, including Logs, Traces, and Metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience with highly scalable, event-driven distributed systems.
  • Proficient in Node.JS, Go, Rust, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, or S3.
  • Ability to handle the full data lifecycle at scale, focusing on efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and shipping changes quickly without issues.
