The role involves close collaboration with engineers and operators experienced in building and shipping products in the ML and blockchain space.
Tasks include partnering with product and research teams to design prototypes, reviewing code and technical proposals, and working in domains such as distributed/p2p systems, AI/ML, and blockchain/cryptocurrency.
The position requires using tools and languages such as Python/Pytorch, Rust, and GCP, and involves building, testing, debugging, and deploying large-scale decentralized systems across hundreds of nodes.
Requirements:
Candidates must be fluent in a systems language such as Rust, C, C++, assembly languages, shell scripting, or DSLs.
A level of expertise in networking, distributed systems, storage, databases, operating systems, and runtimes is required to read research papers and design systems based on them.
Experience in building and shipping production-level systems or applications is necessary, with an emphasis on systems involving ML or incentive design.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential for this role.
