Description:
- Taxwire is developing a global indirect-tax platform for finance teams, focusing on tax exposure, compliance, and automation.
- The role involves backend infrastructure, systems architecture, and core product logic, with a focus on building foundational systems for tax automation.
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, pandas, duckdb), Postgres, SQL, and AWS infrastructure.
- Strong experience in designing systems and data models in complex domains.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Self-starter capable of leading projects and executing independently.
