Description:
- Glydways is innovating public transit to enhance accessibility, affordability, and sustainability.
- The role involves owning and evolving the Ticketing & Ride Request (TRR) system, ensuring reliability for users requesting rides.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend systems handling real traffic at scale.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Python, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ preferred).
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong debugging skills.
