Description:

Support existing systems 24x7 and administer current Big Data environments.
Manage BigData Group environments and maintain working solutions for the big data tech stack.
Report to the Engineering Manager, Data Platforms.
Implement, support, and administer Hadoop and AWS EMR environments.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure platform reliability and support product development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of Hadoop infrastructure administration (AWS EMR or Cloudera).
2+ years of Linux (Redhat) system administration (optional).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, VMWare) and automation skills (Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Puppet) and coding languages (SQL, Python).
Familiarity with YARN, HBase, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and adapt to change.
