The position involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining backend services and microservices for the Risk platform using Java (Spring Boot).
Responsibilities include collaborating with risk analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to design and implement systems for fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and user protection.
The role requires writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical discussions.
Additionally, the position involves analyzing and optimizing system performance and reliability, as well as assisting in building tools and automation to improve operational efficiency and response time to emerging threats.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required, and students in their final year are welcome to apply.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of Java programming fundamentals, object-oriented design, and multithreading.
Familiarity with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs is necessary.
Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis) is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are important.
An interest in security, risk management, or financial systems is considered a plus.
Experience with distributed systems or microservice architectures is a nice to have.
Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and exposure to big data tools (Flink, Spark) or stream processing frameworks are advantageous.
Knowledge of blockchain or cryptocurrency concepts is also beneficial.
