Conduit is building a rollup-native cloud platform to scale Ethereum and improve onchain compute for crypto builders.
The platform aims to simplify the launch and maintenance of chains, similar to how AWS and GCP operate in web2.
Conduit has experienced significant growth since its launch in 2023, managing over 200 chains and more than $1B in total-value-locked (TVL).
The company has received a $37M Series A funding round, co-led by Paradigm and Haun Ventures.
The backend team is responsible for building systems that power the Conduit Platform, focusing on scalable distributed Ethereum-based solutions.
The role involves designing, building, and scaling EVM-based solutions, improving the Node, EVM, and exploring alternative solutions like Reth.
Responsibilities include architecting EVM Node solutions, delivering robust software in a devops environment, improving tooling and processes, and participating in oncall rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a deep understanding of the EVM and surrounding Node.
Experience with Ethereum internals, including EVM, debuggers, block explorers, and tracers is required.
Understanding of tooling patterns and practices for developers on EVM networks is necessary.
Candidates should have experience designing, implementing, and running production services.
Experience debugging complex issues across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks is essential.
The ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers to solve complex technical problems, including mentoring and conducting peer-reviews, is required.
Benefits:
Conduit offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the blockchain space by building scalable solutions.
The company promotes a collaborative work environment with a team of elite engineers from top tech companies.
Employees can work remotely, as the team is distributed globally.
Conduit values diversity and does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender identity, or other protected characteristics.
