Remote Cloud Architect

Description:

• As a QA Tester/Cloud Architect, you will understand the latest developments in cloud and container technology.
• You will further develop the stability, reliability, and quality of the Open Telekom Cloud platform.
• Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and monitoring automated tests.
• You will detect errors in interfaces and functionality.
• You will consistently automate using common automation frameworks.
• You will review and correct product documentation.
• You will solve complex problems in the day-to-day operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend.
• You will work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner.

Requirements:

• You must have completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject or have comparable professional training.
• You should have 5-7 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• A lot of experience with test methods, test automation, and test tools is required.
• Practical knowledge of Linux is necessary.
• You must have a high level of customer focus.
• Knowledge of agile development processes is essential.
• You should have the ability to assess technical solutions and find creative approaches to solutions.
• Experience with OpenStack and programming in open source projects is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• You will be working in the European Union to meet customers' data security and privacy requirements.
• You should have in-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools, and network-related services.
• Solution architecture experience with one of the known public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OTC, MS Azure) is required.
• You should be an expert in one of the following: Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, Network General, Security and privacy, API, or Ansible.
