As a Cloud Engineer within the infrastructure team, you will help advance cloud infrastructure and DevOps principles.
Responsibilities include iterative improvements for CI/CD pipelines, contributing to the Terraform codebase, and developing cloud infrastructure solutions focused on scalability, high-availability, and security.
You will collaborate with the engineering team and the wider business to find optimal solutions for cloud-related challenges.
The role involves proposing improvements to ensure the platform and infrastructure evolve as the company scales globally and participating in routine security, reliability, and disaster recovery exercises.
Requirements:
A passion for cloud infrastructure, security, reliability, and building scalable solutions is essential.
Experience in AWS and shipping scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems at large scale is required, ideally with a stack that includes AWS, Cloudflare, Docker in ECS Fargate, Lambdas, and SQS.
The ability to wear multiple infrastructure hats and engage with various aspects of cloud infrastructure, including ACLs, security services, networking, compute, CI/CD, and deployments, is necessary.
