Remote Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• PayPay Securities is a FinTech company that has rapidly expanded its business scale as a payment platform in Japan, with over 69 million users as of May 2025.
• The company provides a unique asset management service through a smartphone brokerage firm.
• As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and QAs to build a new organization within PayPay Securities.
• The role involves architecting and building a robust, scalable, and stable infrastructure, ensuring it is maintainable during patching and upgrades without downtime.
• You will work with Security Engineers to provision a secure infrastructure and automate AWS deployments for fast delivery of cloud services.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of technical experience in AWS-based infrastructure solution design and build.
• Experience in production-level infrastructure change management and releases for high traffic and business-critical systems is required.
• A good understanding of cloud security best practices and payment industry compliance standards is necessary.
• You should have experience in production incident management and cross-team collaboration.
• Extensive hands-on experience with computing, storage, and analytical services on AWS is essential.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools in AWS, such as Terraform, is required.
• You must have experience with Linux internals and system administration.
• Experience in cloud services monitoring, detection, and response is necessary.
• You should have experience in cloud infrastructure service patching and upgrades.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Business-level proficiency in either English or Japanese (Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent) is necessary.
