Remote Cloud Security Engineer (Pre-Award)

Description:

• Barbaricum is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support the modernization and security of USSOUTHCOM’s Enhanced Domain Awareness ecosystem.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security controls and monitoring capabilities across Azure and AWS environments, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD security requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field, or five years of equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud security frameworks, IAM solutions, vulnerability assessments, and SIEM platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
