Virta Health is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to enhance their application security program and protect sensitive health information.
The role involves collaborating across teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and implementing best practices.

Requirements:

Experience in securing cloud-native applications, particularly in Kubernetes and GCP environments.
Strong knowledge of networking, identity management (IAM), encryption, and web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
Excellent communication skills to articulate security concepts and influence teams.
Hands-on experience in application security, including threat modeling and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, and development experience in Go and Python.

Competitive salary range of $145,491 - $187,900 based on qualifications and experience.
Remote-first work environment with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco.
