  • The Customer Success Engineer (CSE), Onboarding Specialist will join a global team of technical specialists to drive product adoption and value realization.
  • This role involves engaging with newly onboarded customers through Zoom calls and emails, providing technical consultancy and guidance during the post-sales process.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical, architectural, and best practice guidance, driving measurable value, and aligning with Account Executives and Renewals Managers.
  • The Onboarding Specialist will focus on customized solution-based programs, develop customer workshops and demos, and maintain competency in relevant technologies.
  • Continuous professional development is encouraged through training, reading, and mentorship.
  • Contributions to documentation, YouTube content, and other enablement programs are expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience with a GitLab use case (SCM, CI, CD, DevSecOps, Agile Planning) to provide in-depth customer guidance.
  • Proficiency in using DevSecOps tools or highly technical tooling in adjacent fields is required.
  • Technical experience in development or systems engineering is necessary.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly and propose iterative solutions.
  • A proven ability to become a trusted technical advisor to customers and business leaders is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously are necessary.
