Description:

9th Way Insignia seeks a Cybersecurity Data Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Cybersecurity Operations and Services Enterprise (COSE) program.
The role involves designing and maintaining security-data pipelines to enhance cybersecurity operations and risk analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in data engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience in security data engineering, data architecture, or related fields.
Experience with log management, SIEM, security analytics, data pipelines, and cloud-based data services.
Knowledge of security telemetry, data normalization, and retention practices.
Strong skills in scripting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
