Remote Data Analyst (German)

Description:

• Support Lightcast's global data initiatives by analyzing and improving multilingual data quality.
• Collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to develop parsers and evaluate text classifiers.
• Translate key taxonomies to ensure high-quality data delivery to customers.
• Full-time independent contractor position for up to 6 months.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading and writing German, with understanding of language syntax.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and data cleanup.
• Knowledge of SQL and regular expressions (RegEx).
• Ability to perform detail-oriented work with accuracy and follow complex instructions.
• Multilingual candidates preferred, especially those proficient in Dutch or Turkish.
